Herpetological trip to Oman: 4. to 17. Februar 2009 |

trip report by Thomas Bader, Gerald Ochsenhofer and Christoph Riegler |

Conclusio & List of observed species
This trip was one of our best trips in terms of travelling, because of the friendliness and hospitality of the Omanis. We felt safe everywhere, the prices were low, except some accommodations. Regarding reptiles and amphibians we state, that the abundance of herps is relatively low especially in gravelly areas, but the species richness is very high and extremely interesting, especially in niche and daytime separation. We can highly recommend this country for individual holidays to people interested in nature!
